A Super Visa is a special visitor visa which will allow parents of Canadian Citizens to stay long-term.
Successful candidates can live in Canada for up to 2 years at a time (they must reside with their children). Children of Super Visa applicants must show enough income to support parents and must buy medical insurance. The insurance must cover costs of at least $100 000 per year, per parent.
