Brief Overview

Canada is always seeking foreign workers and professionals to strengthen its workforce. From temporary or permanent foreign workers, to Canadian businesses working on there LMIA – ZFCanada is ready to serve.
Getting a work permit in Canada, although not difficult, requires a thorough understanding of the complex system of the pertinent acts and regulations. This can be stressful at times, especially when thinking about/after moving to a completely new country.
If you are currently residing outside of Canada and wish to apply for a work permit – there are several mandatory documents that you must submit. In most cases Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will ask you to submit a Labour Market Impact Assessment along with your application.Your future employer will receive a LMIA from the government which, in short, dictates that the Canadian market has insufficient workers to fulfill roles – allowing them to turn to the global market.
If you already have work permit but need to get it renewed – we can help. Also, if you have a work permit but wish to apply for permanent residence, please contact us.
After a company shows that the Canadian market does not possess the workers necessary for it to function successfully – one can apply for a LMIA. A positive LMIA shows that yes, there is a need for foreign workers. This usually entails hiring a Temporary Foreign Worker. This document is then forwarded to you to be included in your application. You may find more information here.
One Avenue to Work – a Temporary Foreign Worker must add benefit and productivity to the Canadian economy. Not all Temporary Foreign Worker programs require a LMIA. Many requirements are necessary to be brought on as a Foreign Worker. Please check them out here.
The NAFTA Work Permit is specifically for citizens of states who have signed onto the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). This permit has been issued to build closer economic ties, and to transfer specialized knowledge from entity to entity. The NAFTA Work Permit process is quicker and less stringent than obtaining a work permit for workers outside of the NAFTA states. Please look here for more information.
This work permit allows workers from an international company to transfer into an affiliate company in Canada. This is only granted when the applicant possesses specialized knowledge which is necessary for the Canadian counterpart to thrive. In most cases a spouse can come to Canada with the applicant.
